What if Mario was Mexican instead of Italian and not a plumber but a Luchador?

This was an incredibly fun project to do! I wanted to do a stylized character for so long and finally gave myself some time to do it.

Based on the amazing concept art "Mario Bros Luchador Style" from Andrea Gonzalez. Where she not just created Mario, but also Peach, Bowser and Toad, really good character designs!

It was also very cool to give Pixar’s Renderman a shot, I was amazed with the high quality in delivers.
